CodeChef tutorial: In this tutorial I am going to tell you how to practice programming and participate in contests at CodeChef.com.
What is CodeChef
CodeChef is a programming community where you can practice your programming skills and also participates in contests. You submit your code and it's compiled at the server and then it's tested against the designed test cases.
Requirements
You need to create an account before you can submit your solution to various problems on the website.
Contests
There are two main contests which are organized every month. The first is the long monthly contest which consists of 10 problems and duration of contest is 10 days from 1st of month (3:00 PM Indian Standard Time) to 11th of month (These dates may vary). The second is COOK OFF which consists of 5 problems and duration of contest is 2.5 hours. It takes place on second last Sunday (9:30 PM to 12:00 AM Indian Standard Time) of every month. Besides these there can be other contests also.
